GreenV and Dalsem say their agreement to join forces is complete. The Dutch greenhouse contractor adds construction expertise, while the transaction structure and financial terms remain undisclosed.

Dutch greenhouse contractor Dalsem has joined the GreenV group following an agreement announced as completed on 2 September 2026. COFRA Holding’s statement described the combination as an effort to bring greenhouse construction and technical project capabilities together for growers and investors worldwide.

The announcement confirms that Dalsem is joining the group, but it does not specify the legal form of the transaction, shareholding structure or purchase price. It would therefore be inaccurate to describe it as a disclosed full-company acquisition or a statutory merger.

Construction capability joins an integrated project group

GreenV coordinates a network of specialist businesses delivering high-tech horticultural projects. The companies said Dalsem adds more than 90 years of greenhouse design and construction experience. That experience is relevant to projects requiring building engineering alongside cultivation systems, water technology, climate control and implementation support.

GreenV chief executive Martijn Punt said the addition was intended to improve the group’s ability to tailor integrated solutions to customers globally. Dalsem chief executive Frank van der Gelt described the combination in terms of experience and worldwide delivery capacity. Both remarks were part of the original joint announcement; they are executive expectations rather than independently measured benefits.

What changes for greenhouse developers?

For developers and investors selecting contractors, the stated direction is a broader group offer linking greenhouse construction to specialist technical services. A group structure can affect how suppliers coordinate design, procurement and installation, but the release provides no project-by-project evidence of faster builds, lower costs or new contract wins resulting from the combination.

Dalsem’s company website now describes it as a GreenV company and continues to show greenhouse engineering, climate, water and growing services. This supports the group’s publicly stated association without establishing undisclosed ownership percentages.

The announcement did not identify additional greenhouse hectares, construction-start dates or staffing changes. It also explicitly withheld financial details. Future project contracts and delivery arrangements, rather than the group announcement alone, will show how the combined capabilities are offered to growers.
