A public procurement plan issued in China’s Hubei province on 12 October 2026 outlines a proposed greenhouse complex in Anlu with approximately 242 hectares of sunlight greenhouses and glasshouses. The provincial advance tender notice identifies Anlu Chuangjie Real Estate Co., Ltd. as the project owner and expects a formal engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) tender announcement around 11 November. This is a procurement plan, not an awarded contract or a construction start.
The proposed Phase I works are located in Lidian Town and Chendian Township in Anlu, Xiaogan. The notice lists 3,482.5 mu of sunlight greenhouses (about 232.2 hectares) and 145.2 mu of glasshouses (about 9.7 hectares). Combined, those figures give roughly 241.8 hectares of nominal planned greenhouse area. They do not establish the final net cropped area or confirm that any structures have been built.
RMB 505.6 million estimate covers greenhouses and logistics
The notice places estimated overall Phase I investment at RMB 505.6 million. This amount covers more than growing structures: the same project includes a planned 14,519.67-square-metre smart warehousing and logistics building. The available estimate cannot be treated as greenhouse-only construction spending, and the document provides no separate budget for glazing, climate systems or other greenhouse equipment.
Funding is described as project capital alongside an application for bank loans. That does not establish an approved loan, disbursed financing or fully secured investment. Likewise, the planned EPC procurement does not identify a contractor, technology supplier or final equipment package.
Advance procurement notice, not a project award
A separate official supervision tender plan names the same owner, greenhouse scope and project registration reference, 2604-420982-04-05-835575. It describes another procurement workstream within the same Phase I, not a second development. The registration reference should not be presented as a verified construction permit.
For greenhouse structure, glazing, climate-control, irrigation and logistics suppliers, the scale and anticipated EPC tender make the proposal a potential project to track. But prospective procurement is not confirmed supplier demand: the detailed tender conditions and technical specifications may change before the formal notice is issued.
Next milestone: the planned November tender
The expected 11 November tender announcement is the next point for checking scope, financing conditions and bid requirements. A construction start date, completion timetable, operator, planned crops and awarded suppliers are not established by the advance notice.
Key takeaways
- Anlu’s Phase I advance tender plan lists about 232.2 hectares of sunlight greenhouses and 9.7 hectares of glasshouses, not yet built.
- The RMB 505.6 million investment estimate also includes smart logistics facilities; bank loans are described as being sought, not secured.
- A formal EPC tender notice is expected around 11 November 2026, but no contract award or construction start is confirmed.
